What NeighborForge is

NeighborForge is a free community effort that connects local people who want work with local businesses that need people. It is supported by Shield Maiden Systems, LLC. In these terms, "we" and "us" means NeighborForge.

We are not a staffing agency, not an employer, and not a job board. Read more about what NeighborForge is.

Use it honestly

Please tell the truth on our forms and when you talk with us. Only send information about yourself or your own business. Do not send spam, or anything harmful or hateful.

No fees

NeighborForge is free. We do not charge job seekers or employers. If anyone asks you for money in NeighborForge's name, do not pay, and please tell Carl.

No guarantees

We can't promise a job, an interview, or a hire. We can't promise employers any candidates.

Everyone makes their own choices

Employers make their own hiring decisions. Job seekers make their own choices about work.

NeighborForge is not responsible for what an employer or a job seeker decides or does. We are also not responsible for pay, safety, or conditions at any workplace.

For employers

You are responsible for your own hiring and for following the law, including laws about fair hiring, pay, and safety.

We can say no

We can decline or remove any submission. For example, if it looks like spam, has false information, or describes a job that does not seem right.

Information is shared as is

We do our best, but we can't promise that information about a job, a business, or a person is complete or correct. Please check things for yourself.

Your privacy

Our privacy notice explains what we collect and how we use it.

Ohio law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Ohio.

Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, we will post them on this page with a new date.
